On March 14th (Tuesday), the 3rd committee meeting of this association will be held in a hybrid format (in Osaka and online).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time, the event will consist of two parts: Part 1: Lectures and panel discussion on the latest AM technology and business development, and Part 2: Information exchange session with participants. In the first part, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. Fellow Advisor Takashi Ishide will give a lecture on the latest metal AM technology (DfAM\/quality assurance), GE Additive COO Alain Dupont will talk about efforts as a global company developing the AM business, and Takeki Kobayashi, Executive Officer, Head of Business Strategy Headquarters, Orix Rentec Corporation\/Vice Chairperson, the Japanese Society of Additive Manufacturing, is scheduled to give a lecture on efforts to popularize AM in Japan. From the academic side, Professor Takuya Ishimoto of the University of Toyama will give a lecture on science topics related to AM, and Professor Koji Hagiwara of Nagoya Institute of Technology will give a lecture on technology topics related to AM from an academic perspective. Furthermore, as a new initiative, we are planning a panel discussion on the issues facing the spread of AM technology and the direction for solving them, so we look forward to your active participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
