On Wednesday, September 13th, 2023, our organization will hold the 5th committee meeting in a hybrid format (at the University of Tokyo’s Institute of Industrial Science Convention Hall and online).<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This time, in collaboration with the Institute of Industrial Science, University of Tokyo, we have two parts planned: Part 1 includes lectures and panel discussions on cutting-edge industrial implementations and strategies within the country. Part 2 involves an information exchange session among the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Part 1, we have planned presentations including a speech by Masashi Hoshino, Director of the Material Industries Office, Manufacturing Industries Bureau, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, on ‘Policy Measures for Manufacturing at the Material Industries Office, Manufacturing Industries Bureau, METI (tentative).’ Additionally, Masato Kataoka, Chief of the Gas Turbine Manufacturing Department, Energy Domain GTCC Business Division, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., will present ‘Introduction to AM Application Examples at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries \u2013 Case Studies of Applications to Gas Turbines,’ followed by a panel discussion. Moreover, we are arranging presentations on various topics related to AM business, AM technology, and AM science.
In Part 2, there will be an information exchange session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
