Dear Participants and presenters of the 1stJCSC,

Thank you very much for your kind considering for submitting your abstract to the 1st Japan-China Symposium on Catalysis (1stJCSC).

With your kind cooperation, the 1stJCSC organizing committee had been organizing the 1stJCSC to be held on April 19-21, 2020. However, considering the current situation of the spread of the new coronavirus, the event would be in a difficult situation. We have consulted with the Chinese side, and eventually decided to postpone the 1stJCSC to October 11-13.

We think that all the participants have already arranged the schedule for the attendance and prepared presentation for the 1stJCSC, but we sincerely apologize that we are not able to meet your expectations. We had expected that the 1stJCSC would be a fruitful symposium with about 100 participants from Japan and China, but unfortunately, we have decided to postpone it from April to October.

Upon the postponement of the symposium until October 11-13, the abstracts already submitted will be kept as they are (re-submission of abstract is not needed, and presentation type will not be changed). We will send an E-mail to ask for your availability and VISA procurement again around July.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your kind understanding.
