Dear Participants and presenters of the 1stJCSC,

Thank you very much for your kind considering for submitting your abstract to the 1st Japan-China Symposium on Catalysis (1stJCSC).

The 1stJCSC organizing committee had postponed the 1stJCSC to be held on Oct. 11-13, 2020. However, considering the current situation of the spread of the new coronavirus, the event would be in a difficult situation. We have consulted with the Chinese side, and eventually decided to postpone the 1stJCSC again to October 10-12 2021 (in next year).

We think that all the participants have already arranged the schedule for the attendance and prepared presentation for the 1stJCSC, but we sincerely apologize that we are not able to meet your expectations. We had expected that the 1stJCSC would be a fruitful symposium with about 100 participants from Japan and China, but unfortunately, we have decided to postpone it again from this 2020 to October 2021.

Upon the postponement of the symposium until October 10-12 2021, the abstracts already submitted will be kept as they are. We will send an E-mail to ask for your availability, modification of abstract and presentation type, and VISA procurement again around June of 2021.
